Boarding Vaccinations

Before your dog can board with us they need to be vaccinated. This is a strict policy we must follow as a kennel to ensure the health and safety of your pet as well as the health and safety of other client’s pets while they stay with us.  We require the following:

Bordetella aka Kennel Cough  These shots are required every 6 to 12 months to prevent canine infectious tracheobronchitis (aka kennel cough). It is important in order to protect your pet from the hacking cough and snotty nose brought on by the easily contracted bacteria that causes the highly contagious disease.

Distemper/DA2PPC/DA2PP  These shots are required every 1 or 3 yearsA multivalent shot that covers Distemper, Adenoviruses 1 & 2 (Canine hepatitis), Parvovirus, and Parainfluenza. This is an important shot to protect your pet from these very infectious and sometimes deadly diseases.

Rabies –  These shots are required every 1 or 3 years. Rabies is 100% fatal in dogs because there is no cure.

We love caring for your pets while you are away and in order to do that we want to make sure they are properly vaccinated! Please make sure your pet is up to date on these required vaccinations before their first day of boarding and please provide us with a copy.

If you do not have a copy of their vaccines or fail to have them faxed to us by your vet, it is not our responsibility to make sure they are properly vaccinated. If we do not have proper documentation, before the day of boarding, we have the right to refuse you service.
